I took this photo of Mark while he was speaking to the Xavier Women’s Soccer team, whose head coach Woody has a great relationship with us and respects what we can offer to his student athletes. Over the winter, he arranged for us to present to the team the Athletes in Action “Principles”. It is a five lesson series of Biblical truths that apply to being an athlete and a follower of Jesus Christ; we teach these principles at all of our camps.
The coach made attendance mandatory for the first lesson! After that he let the girls choose, and we weren’t sure how the team would react…but we have had twelve girls, or half of the team, faithfully attend the following three sessions.
Please pray for these girls to understand God’s Word and to give their lives to Jesus. Were you to meet them, you would think they are sweet, wonderful young ladies.
