Nia is one of our Xavier alumni. She was a sprinter who ran track and graduated in May. Nia, along with Nick (another sprinter) and Joel (a soccer player) are all past Xavier graduates who have been helping lead the ministry here on campus. They all have jobs in town, and so they are busy, but the Lord has laid upon their hearts to share the love of Jesus Christ with the current students. Nia told me that a highlight for her has been being able to be a part of molding our leaders (Spiritual Team Captains) at our Monday night Bible study. Mark and I are encouraged to have these young alumni continuing to engage with our current student athletes. Their presence is making a big impact on our campus and in the Kingdom.
