Mark and I had a precious time with our kids at home over the holidays.  I ran in the Thanksgiving Day 10K Race with David, Nathan, and Sarah.  I have been running a lot and feel better than ever.

winterRetreat272.OSUMark is leading some big-time projects for which I am sure he covets your prayers. He is in charge of the AIA Winter Retreat which will be held the end of this month. We will have about 300 student athletes attending from Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. He is also co-leading an AIA project to Puerto Rico this summer.  He is on conference calls and making plans for both of these events.

I thought you might enjoy knowing about a couple of special opportunities I have had recently.  I was invited to go to the driving range and hit balls with Abby and Shane on the Xavier golf team, who came to our Christmas party. I held my own as we came up with a competition for closest to the pin on some of the yardage markers.

baseballfreshmanWe also had all the freshman on the baseball team over for dinner last week.  That was a lot of fun and we really got to know them better.

I had an evangelistic appointment last week with a girl on the track team who was Buddhist.

Please pray for us as we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with student athletes.
