Chad steps up on the blocks…his heart is pounding in his chest…he’s trying to settle his thoughts…he takes a deep breath to help him focus. This is it. He has trained all year for this race. The starting gun echoes on the pool deck and the race has begun. Only the Lord knows how it will end. I roomed with the head coach, and experienced the Atlantic 10 conference meet for the first time. Please pray for the Lord to honor those relationships that were built and provide many future opportunities to share Christ and encourage students like Chad to grow in their faith.

Susie wanted to let you know that she lost her Dad. He passed away at age 83 . Fred, we miss you. Please pray for Susie and for our family as we grieve our loss.
Nate will graduate in June with his degree in Architecture. He is considering grad school, a gap year to work or possibly a year overseas. Please pray for him these next few weeks as he awaits the decision on these options. Sarah had a season ending injury in softball by tearing the ligament in her left thumb and breaking her right arm. Please pray for her to have a healthy recovery from those two surgeries and for the grace and strength to complete her semester. David is praying over some of the summer opportunites he has been given. Pray for his ministry on campus and the Bible study he leads in his dorm.
I will be taking a team to Guatemala this summer. Please pray for those details to get worked out and for a strong finish to the school year. It has been an emotional month for us. May we find strength in the Lord .
