God Breaks into the Top Golf Program in the USA

Rose and Rachel

The NCAA National Champion Stanford Women’s Golf team has two of the top golfers in the country: Rose Zhang and Rachel Heck, both of whom are outspoken about their faith in Christ.

Rose just won the “world’s best female amateur golfer” for the third consecutive year. Both Rose and Rachel are on the U.S.A. national team. Plus, both Rachel and Rose are playing in LPGA events, even though they are still amateurs and only a sophomore and junior in college.

I have talked to both, and Rose asked me for spiritual advice. I am doing my best to influence them and encourage them in their faith as they try to be a light for Christ on their teams and on their social platforms.

Brooke Riley

Brooke Riley is the new assistant coach at Stanford. She played golf at Northwestern and was involved in our AIA ministry there. She and I have been friends since 2017, when I started traveling to Big Ten golf tournaments. I praised God when I found out that Stanford had hired her as their new assistant golf coach. This will help me in my access to the Stanford team, and now I have  friends in just about every PAC-12 program. Brooke coming to Stanford was so unexpected. God is so good!

Please pray

I want to build on the friendships that I have throughout the PAC-12 golfing programs and set up campus visits and team meetings. Please pray for growing friendships, connections, and open doors. Pray that these visits will be fruitful.
