The students were out on the field playing Corn Hole, Kan Jam, Spike Ball and other field games.  They were wearing their masks, staying in their team “pods” and abiding by team rules.  One of our students came to me and said, “I don’t know if you planned it this way, but I really like having the students in charge.  

“Student led, staff directed”was our goal in South Africa.  In fact, it was achieved within our ministry during our years there.  Yes, that was, and is, our plan here too.  Our student leaders are stepping up, working well within their teams (and the Covid restrictions), sharing the Gospel with incoming freshmen on their teams and leading Bible studies. It will be interesting down the road to see how the changes we have had to make this year impact the local ministry, and our students’ lives.  Please pray for our student leaders as they take on more leadership.
