The Harvest

With the Coronavirus pandemic putting us all on lock down and restricting travel, all of our AIA mission initiatives for the summer were canceled.   I considered that this might be an opportune moment to implement an initiative for our staff to get needed input, encouragement and shepherding in developing a thriving ministry partner team.  I began conversations with Cru’s headquarters in Orlando with setting up a program for our campus staff across the nation.  I made a pitch of the program with the national director of AIA campus.  That’s when the world-wide President of AIA, Mark Householder, got wind of my plan, and I got  a call.

The AIA president has asked me to lead a 6 week initiative with all interested AIA staff (May 18-June 22) called the MPD ReConnect. (MPD-ministry partner development). This would not have happened if our summer mission trips had not been shut down. It is a perfect stewardship opportunity for me to use what the Lord has built into me to help mentor our staff around the country. My vision and passion for these 25 staff is to help equip and inspirethese laborers to become Christ-centered, fully-funded, and financially-faithful.

“So thankful and excited about the opportunity to lead this initiative.”

Please pray for me and my team, that the Lord would use this time to equip and inspire all of our staff so that more college students’ lives will be changed by Jesus.

MPD ReConnect Update (7/1/20)

• The MPD ReConnect was a huge success. It was a joy to equip and inspire 24 staff from around the country.  Here is a quote from a team leader in Wisconsin: “I am super thankful for the resources and language MPD ReConnect gave me. It has boosted my confidence as I re-enter into a season of MPD. I am more motivated to create a rhythm of MPD for myself and my staff team in the fall.”
