As student leaders and volunteers we are focusing on our Walk with Jesus. This has to remain central.

It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.

2 John v.4

It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

3 John v. 3-4

With my expanding role to embrace the campuses throughout the city, these past three months I’ve been reaching out asking people to consider volunteering with us to grow deeper at Xavier and go out to new campuses. We are meeting monthly for training and equipping for the campus ministry. It’s exciting for me to be investing and mentoring the next generation of volunteer leaders.

As we are starting a new school year could you join with us in prayer?

•Thank the Lord for the 10 student leaders at Xavier. Pray for their walks with God and for their passion for spiritual multiplication- that is they want to multiply their lives spiritually into the lives of others by helping their fellow athletes to know Christ personally and grow in relationship to Him.
•Anxiety, depression, loneliness, alcohol, social media and sexual addictions these are some of the common struggles many of our freshmen are experiencing while beginning their college years. Pray for softening hearts to the love of Christ so that they can find their hope in Jesus.

•My prayer goal has been 15 volunteers and I’m so encouraged to say that the Lord has already raised up 7 new volunteers.

I want to be leading the leaders. This is taking place through the Action Group at Xavier and with the Key Volunteers in the city. My dream is for every athlete on every athletic team in the greater Cincinnati area to know someone who is
truly walking with Jesus. I am so encouraged, and thankful as we start this school year.

Thank you for your Kingdom partnership with us! Together we are equipping students to walk with Jesus and see lives changed for eternity.
