This photo above, taken this summer at our project, shows you the wonderful athletes and staff that went with us to San German, Puerto Rico. As the Operational Director, I find it challenging and fulfilling as I see God bring all the details together that made this project a reality for over 100 participants. Puerto Rico is a strategic location, a gateway to the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Top athletes from the region come here to study at their universities. We have been invited to establish movements on all 21 campuses on the island. Presently we are already on four of them. These world caliber athletes are being reached by our American athletes and the Caribbean athletes that we have been working with over the past four years. Some of the Puerto Rican student athletes are actually interning and joining AIA staff. As we reach athletes for Jesus Christ, then they can go back to their home countries throughout the region, and share the gospel there.
Our work at Xavier University has begun as we have been invited by the Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs to help their programs during their preseason training.
