Sending Student Athletes to the World

We are thrilled that we have seven Xavier student athletes and one part-time AIA staff joining Mark on the AIA Puerto Rico Project (PRP).  Mark is the PRP Operational Director and he is in the final countdown to the beginning of this year’s project.  There will be a total of 90 American and Puerto Rican student athletes and staff on this 2 week mission. We are sending students to reach their families, their fellow teammates, and to the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our hope is that the Lord will use this experience in their lives to help them see God’s call in their life to reach the world for Christ.  Grant, the part-time field staff pictured above (in the pink shirt) is evidence of the effectiveness of this strategy.  Grant went on this very project with Mark in 2014, and through that experience Grant felt called into ministry.  His presence at Xavier these past few months has been huge.

Please pray for all our students that they might develop a heart and calling to help fulfill the Great Commission.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20
